Ash Toub

Ash Toub has opened 40 dental locations from scratch and built revenue cycle departments and call centers from the ground up. He served as COO of Blackford Dental Management and VP of Operations at North American Dental Group, and has worked nearly every seat in a DSO, from CMO to COO, starting in small groups before being brought in as the operational liaison to rebuild revenue cycle at a 200-location DSO, where he went on to oversee half of the group’s operations.

Having run ortho, specialty, and general practice groups, he sees a practice through the eyes of every department, sales, marketing, revenue cycle, and operations, and now from the vendor side as well. That operator’s lens and an AI-forward mindset led him to found Smile Data, dental analytics built AI-first for every department, designed to remove the dependency on data engineers and put reporting directly in operators’ hands. He currently runs three companies: Ponce Dental Studio, his newest DSO, which took startup practices past $5M in collections in year one; Smile Data; and Push Print, direct mail with social media ad targeting.
