Thomas entered the dental industry through a request to review a technology quote for a two-location practice. He was shocked to save the practice owner $25k by providing better equipment than quoted. He realized a greater need in the dental industry for technical support and guidance. Today with over 20 years of experience in dental IT, Thomas is the nation's renowned dental technology leader. Thomas' mission is to lead dental organizations through operational and scaling challenges by leveraging technology. He has a forward-thinking outlook and is solution-focused, which has led him to work with the top dental vendors on evolving and developing the technology infrastructure for the industry's future. He is the owner and CEO of Medix Dental IT, the only dental IT company focused on emerging and current dental organization needs. Presently, Thomas consults with DSOs across the country on technology strategy and serves as a foundational CTO for an emerging data-centric DSO. In addition to his love for technology, he has a genuine passion for guiding organizations and individuals to success. He serves as a Board Member and past Board Chair of a technology-driven financial institution. While being Board Chair, Thomas' guidance led to an asset size growth of $1B to $1.7B and a loan size growth of $627M to $1.35B. Thomas has honorably served on the Business Scaling Mentor program at Stanford University, where he guides mentees on entrepreneurship and innovation.
